One of Chicago’s favorite fine dining destinations, mk The
Restaurant has partnered with Spottswoode Estate
Vineyard and Winery to present the epicurean experience
you’ve been dreaming of. Featuring the award winning fare that
has captivated the hearts (and stomachs) of thousands over the
past 16 years, experience New American cuisine at its finest as
James Beard Award-nominated Chef/Owner Michael Kornick and
Executive Chef Erick Williams will guide the evening’s menu in the
restaurant’s contemporary, lofted space or in your home.
Their creations will be beautifully paired with the signed vertical
collection of Spottswoode’s 2009-2012 Cabernet Sauvignon,
whose fruit characteristics are dynamic, vivacious and layered
with minerality, florals, spices and herbs. Spottswoode’s President
and CEO Beth Novak Milliken will also attend, personally
collaborating with her very good friend Chef Kornick throughout
the evening and sharing unforgettable stories. It promises to be an
evening for the senses.
And it doesn’t end there! Take home six bottles tonight to begin
the celebration: “The brilliant 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts
an inky/purple color as well as glorious aromas of spring flowers,
lead pencil shavings, licorice and a multitude of wild mountain
fruits, in particular black raspberry, blackberry and cassis
reminiscent of a French Pauillac ...With a flawless integration of
tannin, wood and acidity, it comes across like a liquid version of

Note: Available Sunday through Thursday (no holidays), or at 6:00pm
on Friday or Saturday. Guests pay the sales tax and appropriate gratuity.
