DINNER AND WINE WITH RENÉE FLEMING
G
ather a few of your closest friends and spend the evening, in
the comfort of your home, chatting with Renée and enjoying
the delectable food served by Calihan Catering.
In addition, you will have a wonderful selection of wine including
some of Renée’s favorite white burgundy. The
2006 Les
Demoiselles
impresses for its verticality, fabulous overall balance
and completeness. It is a joy to taste!
Start the evening of November 21, 2015 by popping some bubbly
Dom Pérignon
. The 2002 vintage is the perfect way to begin
a celebratory evening of old and new friends. Add some
2002
Haut-Brion
which is suave and light on its feet, with excellent
integrated acidity framing and extending the flavors. It’s been
called a “classy and classic” wine, finishing with ripe, building
tannins. Then, incorporate a Bordeaux legend with
Château
Latour
. In a class of its own, Château Latour has been an
incredibly consistent First Growth of the Médoc for over 100
years. And, some of the best wines from this storied history
have come from the last twenty years. Regal, full bodied and
powerful, the
2003 Latour
is no exception to the greatness of this
château. It boasts a dark color and a nose of licorice, espresso,
blackberry, jam, earth, plums and spice.
This wine lives up to
the 100-point reputation!
Finally, top the evening off with
1988
Château d’Yquem
, and you are set for a perfectly lovely evening
of dinner, wine, Renée and friends.
Note: Must take place in the purchaser’s home with amaximumof 10
people. Due to scheduling constraints of all parties, the dinner must take
place November 21, 2015, in the metropolitan Chicago area, and no
musical performance is included.
