EVEREST, THE PINNACLE OF CHICAGO’S
FINE-DINING SCENE
W
orld-renowned Chef Jean Joho
invites your party of six
to marvel at the breathtaking views of Chicago as you
take in an evening of exquisite wine and cuisine prepared by the
master chef himself. Also enjoy the grand cru classé among the
world’s finest Bordeaux, and
Dom Pérignon’s unbeatable Brut
Champagne
. This luxurious lot has it all! Go ahead, spoil yourself!
With dinner, the
1990 Troplong Mondot is a beautiful wine
with a deep, rich, ruby-purple color, and an intense and complex
bouquet of black fruit, spices and mineral notes. This wine has
concentration and a mix of power, finesse and grace, with enough
tannins and backbone to ensure great aging potential. And, the
fabulous 1994 Côte Rôtie La Landonne
has a dense dark purple
color, with aromas of olive, iron and black fruit.
The
1945 Graham Vintage Port is a rare, rare treat.
As Richard
Mayson, the Decanter World Wine Awards Regional Chair for
Port, notes, it is “among the finest vintage Ports declared this
[20th] century”.
Decanter’s
veteran columnist Michael Broadbent
declared in 1989 that it was ‘outstandingly the loveliest’ of the
1945 vintage Ports. A spectacular finish, indeed.
Note: Must be amutually agreed upon date, Tuesday through
Friday. Expires August 30, 2015. Wine will be taken home by the
purchaser tonight; it is the responsibility of the purchaser to bring the wines
to dinner.
