1990 MONTROSE IS SO DENSE YOU COULD CUT

IT WITH A KNIFE, AND THE 100-POINT PARKER

SCORE IS DESERVED.

A

wine as unique as the pink heather-covered hills which

surround the Château, the deep inky and ruby purple color

are just a hint of the stunning concentration and amazing texture

of this 1990 Montrose. It has an abundance of sweet black fruits

intermixed with pleasant and subtle wisps of earth and spice. It is

a fleshy, full-bodied St-Estèphe wine with atypically high amounts

of fatness and fruit extract. For the most drinking pleasure, you

have to have long-term cellar vision. The wine is 25 years old and

is just past adolescence! There’s so much more to come with this

Montrose.
